One picture that helps
Treat the portal like a filing cabinet you can screenshot — not a courtroom. You’re gathering papers so a conversation with management has dates and numbers, not memory.
Before you log in
- Use the All Points / HOA link from your closing packet, welcome email, or the HOA section on burleyridge.com (All Points Community Management is listed there). If you don’t have a login, use their homeowner registration path — don’t guess a random URL from a search ad.
- Have your address and the email they have on file ready.
- Work on a computer if you can. Phones make saving PDFs harder.
In the portal
- Log in. If it fails, use forgot-password / register and stop there until you’re in — don’t create a second account on a different email.
- Find balance / ledger / account (wording varies). Note the amount, the due date, and the as-of date on the screen.
- Find notices / documents / violations (again, wording varies). Open anything recent.
- Save proof the same day: screenshot the balance screen, download statements/PDFs if offered, and save violation letters. Put them in a folder with the date in the filename.
- Write down three lines for management: what the portal shows, what you believe is wrong, and what document you’re attaching.
Traps
- Paying twice “just to clear it” before you have a screenshot of what it showed.
- Arguing only from memory or a Facebook screenshot of someone else’s issue.
- Taking merger rumors or hallway talk as your account status — the portal and your saved statements are what you bring to the conversation.
- Asking Ridge Tech (or a neighbor) to “fix” an HOA dispute. This guide ends at proof + a clear question.
Done means
You have dated screenshots/PDFs of balance and notices, and a short written question for All Points / the board. You’re not waiting on an evening to remember what the screen said.
